Picture this...

You wake up easily after a nourishing, deep, natural sleep.

You grab a glass of water and head to your mat for your morning mindfulness practice. After, you head outside to run stairs. Exhilarated from your run, you head to your yoga mat.

Calm, centered, focused and happy! Settling into your now cherished Yoga practice. Refreshed -  feeling a freedom, energy, and mobility you haven’t had in years! You marvel at your improved health and flexibility.

You almost can’t believe how much you have changed from 3 short months ago…

Waking up frazzled, exhausted and not ready to meet your day. A fitful sleep forced finally by a sleeping aid. Back aching, you stiffly extend out of bed and hope that the walk to the bathroom will bring some relief to your tight hips.

You make your way to the kitchen, phone in hand. Slurping down a coffee hoping to recover some energy to make it through your day. Wishing you had the energy to workout.  Wishing your body would stop aching.

After some gut-churning comparisons to your Instagram role models, that make your life feel even more miserable, you note more stiffness in your neck as you spiral into self-judgment. Annoyed - you eat healthy and workout, but the chronic stiffness and pain prevent you from reaching that next level.

You caulked it up to age, or “what happens” but you see others living the life you want so you wonder what it is you don’t know yet. You thirst for it and seek it continually. Others are LIVING it. You lead a healthy lifestyle; you don't understand why you still have the aches and pains. Why you have this tightness all over? There’s a missing piece.

The answer came through a wellness workshop your employer provided. It improved your nutrition. The training you have on lockdown, if you can deal with this tightness. Hearing the benefits of Yoga you started, tepidly. Awkward movement, unsettled mind…you laugh as you remember your first week. You stuck to it, committed as you are to anything you do.

By the time the first month ended your hooked. No more morning stiffness in the neck, fading in the back. Deeper natural sleep & increased strength. By the second month your glowing, radiant skin, high energy, and mental clarity are blowing your mind. The third month you finally see the mirror image chased for so long! No more tightness, you're running again - no aches.

Your calmer, killin' it in your training program, at home, and work. Peaceful even blissful! Your relationships and outlook on the world have improved. You can’t believe the transformation; you found your missing piece. Happiness is motivating.

Why. My Story.

Yoga, mindfulness and meditation can create miraculous healing.

My yoga journey began at 15 years old when I had developed lower back pain from a fall on my tailbone. Although it started as a physical journey to better health, my adolescent years were full of self-loathing, addictions, confusion, deep emotional pain & torment, toxic relationships and almost non-existence self-esteem. In 2009 my journey back to my SELF, to my Soul created a strong commitment to being the best person, in the best health, I could be. Starting with personal training and nutritional coaching but always driven by transcendental meditation and Yoga.

Yoga was pivotal in taking my body, nutrition, and health to the next level in creating a healthy, active and happy lifestyle. Yoga practice is instrumental in aligning the body, mind, and spirit in harmony & discovering the purpose of your life. Not only helping us to redesign self-perception, to identify resistance and self-sabotage but to shape your best health. It puts years back into your body through flexibility and joint revitalization.

Creating stillness in our busy lifestyles to hear your intuition.  A better life starts within ourselves. Yoga establishes the stillness, focus, and clarity you need to access your inner power to heal any standing traumas or sabotage within. As well as the energy, flexibility, health, and motivation to redesign the life you’re living now into the one you have always dreamt.

“You Are Enough."

What Is Yin Yoga?

Traditional Yin Flows creates space to connect with your body profoundly. Its intent is to stimulate the movement of QI energy flow through your meridian centers, increasing overall flexibility, awareness & cultivates deep inner peace.

Yin yoga is a beautiful type of yoga with longheld poses intended to affect the connective tissue - the yin tissues of the body, that are not exercised as much the bones, ligaments, joints, fascia, and tendons.  The aim is improving flexibility and increasing circulation   As part of Chinese Taoist and Hatha Yoga culture for centuries Yin takes a more meditative approach to yoga.  As well as many sports such as ballerinas, gymnasts, and martial arts practitioners.  Yin is held as a revered practice of “Internal Alchemy” by Chinese Taoists and practice alongside other activities to create health improvements and longevity for centuries.

Trained in the Sarah Power method (Paul Grilley Yin Styling) which incorporates Buddhist psychology & Chinese medicine into practice and were the intention to stimulate QI energy in the meridians creates vast health improvements as well as accelerated mental and emotional health benefits. With self-proclaimed influences from Viniyoga, Ashtanga, Iyengar as well Sarah’s insight yoga institute is renowned worldwide. Yin is also considered an accelerated path to enlightenment, with a focus on self-awareness paired with rhythmic and conscious breath work.

Yin yoga is a practice that sets our hearts, mind & body on a beautiful path to self-discovery, awareness and higher conciseness.  While protecting the body from injury, hydrating the facia for more movement, freedom from tension and flexibility.  It is a restorative and renewing practice in which poses held between 1m, 5m or beyond and is adaptable to all levels.

“Whether prompted by a crisis or a profound curiosity to uncover that which is hidden within, the path of awareness arouses a heartfelt bond to both our human potential to open and our human predicament of contraction.”

My Health Became My #1 Top Priority.

I Am Obsessed.

For most of my life, I struggled with extra weight.  I wanted to be active, but my family wasn’t the best role models for this.  School sports were too competitive for me.

Because my family’s education on food and health was limited or conflicting, confusion manipulated any relevant information there was. Getting motivated was a challenge.

Later I also learned that my muscular structure suffered due to genetics, over-consumption of toxins at an early age and lack of proper foundational training. I also learned you could overcome any of these factors with cell fueling, energy producing dense nutrition, herbal detoxification, and functional exercise.

I lost 120lbs going from a whopping 260lbs (5’5) to 140lbs but hadn’t caught my mind up to my new body so I still always felt “fat.”  I thought I was healthy and ate well. But the truth slapped me in the face like a ton of bricks. Addiction riddled and utterly lost - a car accident in 2009 radically changed everything for me.

I got brutally honest with myself and sought education on my gaps. Mental reprogramming, affirmations, cognitive therapy, mind mapping, holodynamics, transcendental meditations. Physical therapists, coaches, chiropractors you name it, I have tried it. Proper nutrition, herbal detoxifications, natural skincare & health remedies that boosted immune function, weight loss, metabolism, renewed the brain and built lean muscle.

I spent the money, the time and poured my heart and soul into training so that I could share with you my story and proven methods of transformation on the deepest levels of development.

3 Myths About Yoga

“Yoga is a religion, for spiritual people or people who believe in God only.”

Yoga is more commonly known as a science, the science of self-realization. With ties to Hinduism, mantras, chants or images of specific deities it is easy to get confused with religion.  These are pathways that can aid in the unfoldment of potential states of consciousness that appeals each as an individual with what resonates as truth for them but are not required to mine the benefits of the practice. That’s why trying and finding the right type of yoga is crucial.

“Yoga is too easy or too hard. I don't see the benefit.”

Yoga is unlike any other workout on the planet and cultivates a practice of attuning to the body that is neither easy or passive. Yoga calls in the engagement of mind, body, your environment, emotions, all the senses - while using the breath as a guide and strengthening agent. Charting the signals of comfort or discomfort your body sends you allows you to develop your practice at the level you desire.

“I have to a highly flexible, acrobat or athlete to practice Yoga.”

Flexibility and strength are NOT prerequisites for practice as media may portray. Don’t let the pictures of flexible or fit yogi’s balancing at heights off just their wrists deter you. You adapt Yoga to you. Strength, flexibility, balance & fitness are some of the many benefits of yoga, not the starting point. Yoga is about building a relationship to the mind and body that starts with listening and heeding your limitations. Just a willingness to heal, grow, listen to your body and create health.
